Need your permit first? Central Valley Driving School also offers online Driver Education and instructor led classroom driver education. You must obtain a drivers permit regardless of your age, and you are not allowed to operate a motor vehicle on public roads, which includes public road parking lots.

Note: Central Valley Driving School teaches students in all location day and night, rain or shine. If the student is ready, we will put the student on the freeway, sometimes on winding roads, in heavy traffic. But most of the time we are on city streets practicing the key skills needed to drive safely with other drivers and vehicles on the road. We think students should learn to drive in all kinds of varying conditions and for new drivers the best way is with an experienced and licensed driving instructor in a DMV approved car with an extra brake and mirror for instructors.
